Marketing Manager (Rado)
Job description
- Research and recommend appropriate above-the-line advertising media, and monitor the effectiveness of selected media.
- Establish contract and maintain public relation rapport with the media, to attain maximum exposure and publicity for the brands and products.
- Conceptualize, plan, implement and coordinate events for media according to the marketing objectives set by the Brand Manager
- Create and plan a promotional calendar for trade and consumers, implement the promotional activities and monitor the results, according to the directors set by the Brand Manager
- Implement below-the-line activities including Point-of-Sales, display merchandising materials and printed collaterals, and ensure that these are according to merchandising guidelines provided.
- Work closely with internal team members and perform regular market visits to ensure that marketing activities are carried out efficiently and results are satisfactory
- Monitor competitors’ marketing activities and provide regular market intelligence to the management
- Plan, develop and monitor the Direct Marketing Expense (DME) budget via a standardized format efficiently
- Ensure all POS are well-maintained and presented to uphold Brand image
- To carry out any duties as the Company may from time to time.
Profile
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing especially in luxury goods
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns
- Strong project management , multitasking, and decision-making skills
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
- Experience with marketing automation/software/programs tools
- Proficient with online marketing and social media strategy
- Proven experience designing interactive applications and networking platforms
- Ability to travel as necessary.
- Established press and media contacts.

Brand General Manager | RADO
The Role
Managing the local Rado team with dual reporting lines within Australia and to Switzerland, this role is responsible for all aspects of the Rado brand at strategic and operational levels for the Australasian market. The key focus is further developing the brand's Wholesale distribution base, introducing corporate Retail and increasing demand with local consumers. This challenging role involves business planning, achieving sales targets, financial management, marketing and public relations, inventory control, customer care and people management.
This role is based full time in our Richmond Head Office and involves regular local travel as per business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Exhibit strong leadership and management skills to ensure your team of 6 reports remain highly motivated and perform at optimal level
- Personally oversee all Wholesale distribution achieving required sales targets, maximising range performance and ensuring routine replenishment
- Proactively identify new Wholesale distribution opportunities and improve Rado’s representation in existing points-of-sale
- Responsibility for starting and managing corporate Retail
- Develop and execute marketing plans to support the brand strategy in collaboration with Marketing Specialist and Rado headquarters
- Oversee execution of all Wholesale and Retail display initiatives
- Responsibility for stock ordering and inventory control with Brand Coordinator
- Comprehensive understanding of Rado customer care guidelines/expectations with hands on support of Customer Care Coordinator
- Preparation and presentation of annual budgets, routine reporting and market updates to Rado headquarters

Content Management & SEO:
- Help to create SEO optimized landing pages and content with assistance of our SEO agency, any previous knowledge about SEO would be beneficial
- Drive our agency to implement technical SEO improvements on the website
- Contributing translations into Magento Backend (for landing pages or other pages)
- Support markets in their content update requests / coordinate external agencies for updates e.g. store locator
User Experience & new functionalities
- Support the team to optimize user experience at Rado.com and structure of the landing pages based on tools like ContentSquare and Google Analytics
- Drive continuous improvement at Rado.com:
- Assist with website testing after releases or when testing new functionalities
Analytics & Tracking
- Serve as the point of contact for all analytics and tracking inquiries within the team
- Drive external agencies in implementing website tracking and maintain up-to-date tracking documentation
- Provide data analysis and reporting, including creating monthly website performance reports
AB Tests
- Develop and pilot the AB testing roadmap while monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as bounce rate, conversion rate, and add-to-cart rate
- Measure performance against expected outcomes, considering the confidence level of the tests

Ziel deiner Berufsbildung bei uns
Wir wollen deine fachlichen und sozialen Fähigkeiten fördern und den Grundstein für einen erfolgreichen Lernprozess legen. Mit neusten Arbeitsmethoden und modernen Arbeitsmitteln wirst du auf deinen zukünftigen Beruf vorbereitet. Interne Ausbildungsmodule in Zusammenarbeit mit der Swatch Group sowie Ausflüge mit anderen Lernenden ergänzen deine interessante Lehrzeit.
Während deiner dreijährigen Ausbildung als Uhrmacher/in Produktion erhältst du zuerst eine Basisausbildung in der Lehrwerkstatt der ETA in Grenchen / SO und erwirbst alle notwendigen Kompetenzen, welche mit den zukünftigen technischen Anforderungen in Verbindung stehen. Danach beginnt die Schwerpunktausbildung, in der du deine Handlungskompetenzen vertiefst und festigst. Dieser Teil der Ausbildung geschieht sowohl in der Lehrwerkstatt ETA wie auch bei uns in den Abteilungen Produktion T2 und im Kundendienst.
Profil
Für den Beruf als Uhrmacher/in Produktion sind handwerkliche Begabung, Fingerspitzengefühl und die Liebe zum Detail wichtig. Sehr gute Mathematik-Kenntnisse und einen abgeschlossenen Volkschulabschluss , idealerweise Sek E/Sek, sind Voraussetzung.
